I also thought about extending the reception by an hour, but the costs do add up. Another idea is to rent a suite for the night wherever you'll be staying, and allow ppl who want to party to go there to party. Stocking up on liquor or sweets for the suite would be cheaper!

Why dont you try to ask them to through in the extra hour and the VH...the North Ritz Club did it for me Im not paying the extra 1000 for the extra hour and $15per person for the VH...It was all free.

i think the extra dessert is just fine.... honestly for me, i do not think VH would be worth it b/c my guests will be stuffed already. plus between the cake, the dessert the hall gives out, and our mini vienese trays on the table, i think that will be enough
