Extra items can add up to $$$$

We have a decent wedding budget and are really under it now but then i start getting all these little things and 'extras' and before you know it, the $$ adds up. Don't get me wrong I want and like all the extras but maybe I need to add an 'extra' category to the budget

we are trying to stay away from extras, like no favors, etc. Fh and various members from our family keep thinking of extras that they think we really need, but since I am the one paying for it I have been really firm about everything.

Oh Yeah they add up. We took all our money from our e-party and put it in a CD because of all the extras. And we need money to enjoy our HM.

I think my prob is we have a good deal of wedding $$ and HM $$ saved so not feel as if why not all the extras. I need to stop that !

oh gosh... and fmil told us to elope and that wedding cost too much haha

yea i only began the DIYs and just the basic things at ACMoore was over $200 - and this was just the BEGINNING...

see I'm a bit of an idiot I guess... I feel like anything that doesnt require a deposit is not part of our 'wedding expenses' and I just pay it with regular money, not money devoted to wedding planning... so it seems like, gosh I haven't spent anything when really I have but I just havent written it into our budget.

I think most people don't account for the extras and that is why most people go over their budget, myself included. We haven't finished booking everything but I never think about all the small things, so I'm sure we will be over.
