Extra money!

Extra money!

Does anyone work a second job or do anything on the side for extra money? I'm a teacher so I have time to take on some additional work during the week if i do all of my planning over the weekend. Fh and I are really trying to save to buy something as oppose to renting so we need all the extra money we can. Any suggestions?

Do you work for the city or on the island? I work for the city and I work a ton of coverages (I work in a middle school and they pay us instead of hiring subs) and I'm on my school's inquiry team which meets for three hours a week after school for like close to $50 an hour. If you work for the city you should ask about after school opportunities in the school.

Also, post on Craigslist about being a tutor. Depending on where you travel to, you can make up to $100 an hour or above tutoring kids.

I think being a teacher is awesome... people who complain about not making money are not trying hard enough. All my friends and family say I'm a hustler because I'm always trying to make more money! With so many opportunities, how can I not?

TUTOR!!!!! craigslist doesnt work for me, i never get calls......but i go back to my high school and give my info to the guidance counselors every year.....i usually have around 6-8 kids to tutor for the regents in the spring!

I do Mary Kay to make extra money for the wedding. We make 50% of everything we sell. At an average class I sell about $400 in about 2.5 hours. So I'd make about 200 bucks.

Im a teacher also...and there are always ways to make extra money...coverages, after school teaching, coaching...I have heard that selling Lia Sophia Jewelry is good when you want to make extra money.

Ok no one can laugh..I want at adventureland...I have been working there since I was 15.. I do the birthday parties on the weekends and get tipped for them...it works out for me.
