extra pages for wedding album

anyone have a certain number of pages in their contract for their wedding album and then go over that amount? I am wondering about how much photographers charge per page if you go over the # of pages in your contract - also, if thank-you's weren't included in your contract, how much were they each?? thanks!!

Here's what we did... we booked the standard amount on an album with them... 50 pages. On the contract, we have it stated that should we want extra, they will be available at 9/20/02 prices (date we signed). We have a set with all extras they provide attached to contract with 9/20/02 pricing.

what is that pricing - ie, how much per page? we're trying to decide on our album and never asked how much extra pages were!

our pricing (had to run and get contract) is $35 per page on 10x10.... which means that it could cost an extra thousand dollars if I want a 80 pp album

hopefully more people will respond, I haven't gotten my prices yet so I don't know! What about thank-yous, any one know how much they run if not in your original contract??

have no idea.... sorry.... we are not really doing the thank you's and I have no idea on pricing. Not on this sheet.

We got extra pages, b/c there is no way in hell will 30, 40 or even 50 pix tell the story of your day. We added additional pages and if I am not mistaken it was $25 (don't quote me on this, I could be wrong)per page and we added 6 extra pages. We also did over 22 composites (which are totally necessary, there are some pix that have to be together to tell the story.

I forgot to add, TY are $1.25 if it is the slip in kind and I think $2.50 if its the digital kind. Those are pricey too, but I know of people that have done their own.

Few people get an album that they paid for up front. If you have a lot of great photos, it hard to choose.

Your photographer should have given you a price list for extra prints and album pages when you signed your contract. If you dont already have it - ask him for a copy.

I paid for 70 photographs to be in my album, and then chose 77 when designing my album. We paid $30 per extra 8 x 10 photo included in the album. This price would vary though depending on your initial package.

I paid for a 50 picture album. I believe it is $25/extra page or something like that. Only one composite is included in our package and I am sure we will add those (I think that is $25/composite). I haven't put my album together yet but I am sure we will add pages/composites.

My photographer charges between 30-50 depending on the size of the album (8x10 or 10x10)
I our contract we have 50 pages...I hope I don't go over that.
