extra wide curtain rods

where do i find these? i've looked everywhere, mom went to the curtain warehouse today, we can't find any. i'm looking to save money so custom treatments are not an option.

my living room window is about 13 ft. wide.
and my dining room window is about 12.
each has a superwide center panel with a double hung window on each side.

eta: i'm looking for decorative rods (brushed gold, bronze, wood, rather than the white aluminum rods).

any ideas??

Re: extra wide curtain rods

I'm having a similar hard time finding a Bay Window Rod for our Bay Window .. the middle section is about 72 inches .. and all I can find is up to 66 inches .. that was until I found this SwagsGalore website .. I might be able to make something work from them.

Check them out .. they have 'Extension' Rods, which might work for you .. here's a link to the page:

Re: extra wide curtain rods

My LR window is 12 ft wide. I was looking at prices of around $155.00 for window hardware. Ill be replacing this window in a few years so I didnt want to make the investment. I bought an unfinished 1 1/4 inch wood pole at Home Depot for maybe $15.00 and finished it myself. Brackets and some nice finials cost me about $30.00. It looks great if I do say so myself.
