Does anyone know when they change? My son has blue eyes and he is going to be 6mths. I keep telling my mother that they still may change. But she says no they won't. Any way I have brown eyes and DH has hazel. Do you think they will change?

I dont know exactly but I knwo my mom aways says I had blue eyes until one night when I was 11 months old, she put a blue eyed baby to bed and woke up to a brown eyed one! ( I am sure she is exaggarating but....)

I think your chances of him keeping the blue eyes is good...what color are your parents eyes (both sets?) I can try to figure out what your chances are.....even though you and DH have brown/hazel, you might both carry the recessive blue genes and if you both carry it, your son might end up with blue eyes!

My grandparents both have brown eyes and my mom ended up with blue...dont' know how long before they might change though...

I know genetics! We can figure out the probability of blue eyes if you tell us your parents eye colors and his parents eye colors.
Friends of ours have a beautiful little girl with blue eyes. So I thought! I just saw her 2 weeks ago just before she turned 3 years old and they now look green. So now I think they can change when they are a few years old. I wondered the same thing too because my daughter has blue eyes right now too and she is 6 months old.
