Eye Glasses/Prescription question

Eye Glasses/Prescription question

Does anyone's eye glass/lens prescription make things look trapezoidal (I.e. my computer monitor looks wider at the top and narrower at the bottom, and doesn't look square). Is this normal or did the doc mess up?

It doesn't feel right to me, and I just thought I would ask if anyone knows if its possible that this is the correct prescription and how can I determine it...

I am not liking it, and since its a new doctor for me, I don't completely trust him.

Thanks
Alina

That's never happened to me. They may not have centered the lens properly in your frames. I would definitely go back and have them correct it.

are they contacts? do you have astigmatism? If so then the weights in the contacts could be wrong (the contact has to sit in a certain position...so they put tiny weights on the bottom to keep the position)

I also had color contacts once that would make all the streets lights divide into a million lights...

i don't think it would hurt to call the eye place...they might have heard of this problem already
