Eye shadow question...
I had a trial with Pauline, and what I was curious about was what you guys thought about the eye shadow part. I hardly wear makeup, so to me, it looked kind of weird. I liked it, but I'm not sure. She used a very light lavendar for the eye shadow. She thought it would look nice since the bridesmaids are wearing a Victorian Lilac color. What do you think? I have a very nice tan, and I'll be wearing a berry color lipstick. I just want opinions from other brides, since I don't wear makeup on a regular basis. I don't know if I should wear a neutral color since I have a tan, you'll hardly be able to see it.... HELP!!!

Re: Eye shadow question...
i think if the lilac is incorporated nicely with a nuetral tone, it would be nice. JN did this at my trial since I am having lilac dresses for my girls also, it was a subtle hint of lilac and looked nice.

Re: Eye shadow question...
I agree with Jennbaby... as long as it is kept subtle it should be nice. However, I do think you should not let her go too crazy with color on you. Honestly, no one is going to look at your girls dresses and say 'Wow, those lids really match them dresses!' All you want is too look beautiful that day (and you will!!). Think about what you want to see years from now in pictures of yourself were your face is blown up. Do what looks pretty on you.

Re: Eye shadow question...
I personally am not a big fan of colored eye shadows, especially if you don't normally wear them. I think it would be cool to try if your going out to a club with your friends but not on your wedding day. I think that neutral colors are always the way to go. You said you will be tan, that's an even better reason to keep your makeup natural. You want to still look like yourself but just a little more done up. Best advice, pick up any magazine such as, Cosmo or Glamour and check out what the girls are wearing, most of the time the make up is very natural. Again, this is just my opinion and you have to decide on whatever makes you feel the most beautiful and comfortable.Welcome New Vendors
