eyebrow shaping please help

I need to find a good eyebrow shaper around Babylon area. I have been letting my brows grow out for 3 weeks now and I can't stand it any longer. I do not want to go to my nail place where I usually have them waxed b/c they do not know how to shape them. I need someone who knows what shape will look good w/ my face.

I only know of 2 good places one is in nassau and one is in queens though.

I'm also letting mine grow out too...Im at the 2 week mark and I HATE it!! A friend of mine is doing my brows, but good luck...I know how you feel!!

I agree!!!! I just had mine threaded for the 1st time yesterday!!!! I have never had my eyebrows done and thought it was time to try it being my shower is on Sunday. Threading was AWESOME!!!! I was a little scared that it would hurt because the girl before me told me that she wasn't going to lie to me and said it hurts but not as bad as waxing. Well I have to say it didn't hurt me at all. My right eye was a breeze.... the left was a little more sensitive but nothing that I thought OMG I will never do this again. I definitely recommend it and the lady shaped them perfectly!!!!

I also get mines threaded and it is GREAT!!! I only know places in Queens and Downtown Manhattan though sorry

I know the Sephora in Times Square has an Anastasia outlet. She is the one that does it for the stars and has opened up a section in the Times Square Sephora store. I believe they do shaping.

I go to a really great place in Sayville, it's called Oliver West. Stephanie is the owner she does wax and threading and does an amazing job.

it is so hard to even beign to describe... they use a thread and they are able to do your eyebrows.... let me tell you... it is amazing!! i just still cant understand how it works!! haha

Theading is when they wrap an individual thread (usually in a knot) around each hair individually and pull it out. It's supposedly more precise than waxing. I've never tried it but know girls who swear by it. Personally, I'm in love w/my waxer and will never leave her so I can't try it.

I hear that sephora does great eyebrows, I'm not sure if all of them do it. But I second threading if not sephora, I always get mine threaded and I actually get compliments on my eyebrows. Unfortunately I'm from queens so I don't know of a place near you.

I go to Sephora's Anastasia Studio, not the one in Times Square, the one on 5th Ave. I use Beki. She's AWESOME, but it costs 32 bucks. I am getting tired of schlepping all the way there too.

Puja and Preety salon it is in levittown. Take hempstead turnpike to the intersection of Kmart (on left) (not really there anymore) and waldbaums (on right) and make a left at that light. They are the first 'house' on the right...they do a great job and it's only like $5 or something. If you need more specific directions let me know.
