anyone know of a good place in nassau? I can't seem to find anyplace except in Queens or NYC!

I used to go to one on Hillside Ave in New Hyde Park. In the row of shops on the corner of New Hyde Park Rd & Hillside Ave. I've heard there are better ones, but have yet to go and try them out.

I use the traveling asthetist(spell check?) she comes to my house,
I know she comes from Suffolk, it's a little expensive b/c I pay for her travel, but she's the best,
where are you in Nassau? maybe we can split the travel time

Its a piece of thread that they loop through each individual hair. They yank each hair out, so its more accurate. Its a modified version of tweezing, I guess.

These are all Indian places to get your eyebrows threaded. Most of these places will do your brows for under $8.

i go in hicksville right on 107..femina i believe and the same salon just opened a place in huntington on jericho tpke east of 110 by waldbaums if you know the area there are tons on 107 just south of the mall

I moved to Los Angeles and people look at me like I have 5 heads when I mention threading. They have no idea what it is.
I really liked it because I could go on my lunch hour in NYC and get my eye brows and upper lip done and I would have no redness at all.

Nubest & Co. in Manhasset. Rahima is that woman that does it and she does a really great job.

How about a good place to get them waxed ( out in suffolk-I am in Selden)
