I usually go to the lady in roosevelt field mall . It only cost about $7.00 .

Rani opened up another location in New Hyde Pk on Hillside Ave by the intersection of New Hyde Pk Rd. 516-437-7264 - They charge $5

Rani is opening up another location pretty soon across either the Source Mall or Roosevelt Field, I forget which one.

Theres also another place called Supriyas (formerly called Priyas) on Hillside Ave in New Hyde Pk a little bit before the intersection of New Hyde Pk Road # 516-358-1800. They charge $5 here too.

Does Threading last longer than waxing?

It lasts the same amount of time as they both yank the hair out down to the root. I was scared to thread but after going once I won't go back to wax! It doens't make me break out and it's far more accurate- gives a cleaner line. I was getting up to 12-15 per waxing and threading is far less expensive. If you go on off days (like Monday) they often have discounted prices

I go to Femina but recently discovered Pooja salon on the corner of hemp tpk and newbridge road in east meadow. I acutally might go there tonight. It is 5$ at Femina and 4$ at Pooja

I go to Bella in Dante Fleres Salon on the corner of Glen Cove Road and Northern Boulevard. It's in the Wheatley Plaza shopping center. They charge $15, but there is not one hair out of place, she's great.

I went to Rani, and sat in the dumpy little place with 6 boys and they didn't do that great of a job....left a lot of hairs out of place, I didn't say anyhting 'cuz I just wanted to get out of there.

The nail salon next to boston market does a great job near bank of america

Diva Salon in Douglaston (I know it's in Queens, but it's really close to Nassau). It's on Douglaston Tpke right off Northern Blvd...

I got my eyebrows done for the first time when I was 16 at that place...Oh, the memories...
