How many of you gals get this done? Does it hurt worse than plucking?

Re: Eyebrow Threading?
I do & love it- I go to this amazing place on Bell Blvd in Queens... I dont think it hurts but it also depends on who does it- some are so quick you barely feel it others are not so great and its like a tinge of pain

Re: Eyebrow Threading?
I've been doing it since I was about 13! It hurts a little, but so worth the pain...I go every 2 weeks and I always get complimented on my eyebrows. If you want to see what they come out like before doing it check my album.

Re: Eyebrow Threading?
i get it threaded.. and it's much much better than waxing.. it depends on the person threading you.. some.. some people are trained to pull out one hair at a time which hurts.. but either way try it out.. it's $4 and lasts longer.. hth

I got them threaded a few times. It does hurt a bit, but so does waxing for me. Threading is actually better for your eyebrows and would recommend getting it done

Re: Eyebrow Threading?
I get threaded DH gets threaded MIL get threaded SIL gets threaded
we ALL go. It takes a little longer than waxing but it gives a GREAT look. Its also great it you use Retin A or any acne meds b/c it doesn't rip your skin off. I get my brows & lips done. The lip hurts more than waxing but the eyebrows are nuttin!

Re: Eyebrow Threading?
I had electrolysis done on my eyebrows...its painful, but its permanent. I only go once a year for a touchup.

Re: Eyebrow Threading?
I went for the first time a few weeks ago and i have to say, I did some minor plucking in between, but in my opinion my hair is not growing back as fast as it does when i wax. it hurt a little under the eye but so does wax. i usually have to go every 2 weeks- my brows are unruly if i don't . I am still good though I went to Ruby's - it is in the shopping center on the corner of Newbridge and Old Country rd.

Re: Eyebrow Threading?
I had it done once- I was in SO much pain. The results were amazing though- My eyebrows looked greated and I didn't have to do ANYTHING to them for 2 1/2 weeks.
However, being the big baby I am, I couldn't take the pain and now stick to waxing. I've been told though that after the first 2 or 3 times you get your eyebrows threaded it hurts less. I couldn't bear to have to done again.
(Just so you know though I have a low threshold for pain.. so you may be fine!)

By me it's $7, they thread the bottom of the eyebrow, top, middle of both eyebrows and on the sides close to your hair, but not your hair..lol (Hope that makes sense.)

Re: Eyebrow Threading?
I only thread my eyebrows! I feel that they give me more shape if i thread them. Its $7 by me and it lasts 2 weeks and i dont do anything to my eyebros in the meantime. I think its the same pain as waxing
