I need to get my eyebrows done badly! I usually go to the nail place and get them waxed but I sometimes break out from it. So I was thinking of going to have them threaded. Anyone do this? I am not worried about pain bc I can suck it up but do they really know what they are doing? I am nervous to go to someone I have never been to for anything before.

i just grew out my eyebrows for 7 weeks (LITERALLY) and I went yesterday to get them reshaped. TELL ME WHY they look HORRIBLE. I would recommend my girl that is NORMALLY good but she is CLEARLY not on her game these days.
I do have to say threading is the only thing I do to them because they come out much nicer and cleaner looking and a person who KNOWS what they are doing can give you a really good shape.

i used to do threading until i started doing my own. never broke out from it and it always looked good.

nope never broke out. once she tried really really hard to get an ingrown hair which left a mark but I have never broken out and I have been going threading for years.

I get mine threaded... I LOVE ninas in commack.. I used to go to a place in hicksville, and they were awesome, but when ninas opened I started going there- its much closer. the only problem I ever had was with another place even closer to my house (gorgeous salon)... the original owner was great, but she left and the new owner was okay... but she cut my once and then TWICE she took a chunk out of my brows and I had to pencil it in... I had to grow my brows out for almost 3 months to fix it the last time. I just got them done again last week.. and I'll be honest, going so long with out it. it hurt like a mo'fo.

I dont thread because Im a baby when it comes to pain. But the one time I did do it- i looked amazing and lasted so long.

I have the same problem with waxing. I tried threading two weeks ago and I didn't break out. I even got my upper lip threaded and it hurt like a mofo. I thought it was worth it though because I rather go through the pain than deal with the acne.

i have really sensitive skin and can only get them threaded-i go to rohema at nubest in manhasset..she's amazing
