i go to a really good place in commack and its $6. they even have this stuff you can put on before to numb the area(i never put it but when i was there another girl used it) i never break out from it .

I get mine done in Westbury (front of source mall) place called Rani. They are the only people I let do my eyebrows )and elsewhere on my face) Yes, it is a little bit painful but they go quick and then you get a nice little massage. I notice I break out when I get them waxed so I only get threaded..

I always do threading...I think the hair grows back much better and slower! I actually just went to the place in Roosevelt Field, they have two 'threading stations'.

Try Madison Taylor salon in Garden City. The cost is about $12.00. The lady's name is Eva. She is the absolute best! You can find threading for much cheaper, but honestly...go somewhere you know will be good. Good Luck!

I also do threading without breaking out. Waxing was very bad for me. I had my eyebrows threaded one week before the wedding. I had my lip done (OWWW) three weeks before or so.

try my place- Nina's Herbal Salon its right on commack road, just south of jericho. its about 15 min away from the mall.
I personally don't like the places in the malls... i think they over-charge.
as for WHEN to go- I'd go asap to make sure that everything is okay... i mean, you're a week away- i would have gone last week then gotten touched up next week.
but if you go between now and monday then you'll be fine. i mean i went over a week ago and only had to pluck one hair that grew in.
