i am looking for a place as well - i live in babylon. i was going to check out Posh Salon right on Montauk Highway in Babylon village but I am not sure if they actually do threading or not

but i don't feel like driving to hicksville to get them done either especially with the price of gas!

There's a kiosk in the SmithHaven mall. I don't know if they're any good but maybe you want to check them out.

What is eye threading? And how is it done? I always get mine waxed! Does it hurt?

What is Eyebrow Threading?
Eyebrow Threading is an ancient Indian all natural, safe, simple, fast effective method of facial hair removal. Facial threading is the best alternative to waxing and tweezing, especially for sensitive skin or people who are on Retin A and Accutane. Eyebrow threading is very precise for an eyebrow shape that frames your face. Also once you thread you will never go back to any other method or hair removal.

How Does it Work?
It's done with a piece of thread. By knotting the thread and creating a trap, hairs are removed by the roots or closest to the roots.

How Long Does it Take to Do Eyebrows?
Less than 3 minutes.

Does it Hurt?
It may sound painful, but threading is a lot less painful than waxing. Many of our clients say it hurts less than waxing and some say it does not hurt at all.

What are the Benefits of Threading vs. Waxing?
1. Threading does not peel a layer of skin.

2. The majority of our clients--90%--experience no redness or swelling. If redness or swelling occurs, it is gone within 30 mins.

3. No irritation or bumps at all.

4. Hair does not grow back as fast, and hair re-growth is finer.

5. Threading removes even the finest of hair and feels smooth like baby's skin.

There is a kiosk in the middle of the Walt Whitman Mall.

There is also Femina Salon in Centereach on Middle Country Road, which I LOVE. And it has locations in Northport, Hicksville and Huntington too.

I've been getting my eyebrows threaded for years. My BFF who is Indian turned me on to it. I just wanted to post that the traditional threading is JUST THREADING. There should be nothing else involved. If it works for some and some people like to have all 3 that is cool, but if you're going for the real threading experience you want JUST threading. Plus, the reason I thread is to avoid the problems that come with the other two things (ingrown hairs from plucking and uneven shape with waxing). I don't want to knock the place you posted Barbie, but I just wanted to put out what i know - I hope that is OK!

Spa 85 in Bay Shore.. hands down. I have gone to Femina in Huntington and they unfortunately did not follow my natural eyebrow shape.. I love Naila and will never let anyone else touch my eyebrows again..
