Re: Eyelash Extensions
Be VERY careful who you allow to apply these!! I had a BAD BAD experience with these when i went on a MU trial with a KNOWN vendor on here!!
If applied properly they can be BEAUTIFUL!!

I agree, if applied correctly, they are beautiful. Also, I am not a big fan of the full lash, I prefer the individuals so you can space them and arrange them correctly. When you use the type that is just a full lash, it looks heavy and tacky to me...jmo

I had a great experience for my makeup trial and I did not even feel like they were on my face.

Re: Eyelash Extensions
I had them for both my makeup trial and my wedding day.
I thought they were great. And I didn't have a problem with them.

My mom gets them all the time and she loves them. Just make sure the person who is applying them has a lot of experience.

Re: Eyelash Extensions
I get them all the time. I go to MAC and have them put them on for me. I do not like the individual ones that they use at nail salons and such because whenever it's time to take them off you loose most of you lashes so the temp ones that last for a day are perfcet but the others that last for a month ****.

Re: Eyelash Extensions
I had gotten the individual eyelash extensions put on. They lasted for about 2 weeks and were outstanding!!! I absolutely loved them and can't wait to get them again. The only problem I had was I tried to take them off myself. Be Mistake LOL. Next time I will let them use the solution to take them off. Otherwise they are beautiful!!!

Re: Eyelash Extensions
tried it for the 1st time because our photog suggested it - and i loved it! it was awkward at first (felt like something heavy is on my lids) but i got used to it pretty quickly...
plus it makes for a verrryyy good photo if you have it on!

Re: Eyelash Extensions
I get individual ones from either novalash or lavishlashes. They are placed in one strand at a time and are virtually undectectable. With the right care they last about 6 weeks sometimes more but they are absolutely fabulous.

Re: Eyelash Extensions
I had mine done 'professionally' from my e-party. yea, got them put on around 5:30 on friday night.. got my nails done, left, went to teach a dance class, pulled up to my class and one of the lashes fell off (they were individuals).. couldn't do anything about it because I had a class to teach. went through class with no problems, raced to the salon after... the salon close at 8, class ended at 745... I got there at 755.. yea they were closed and locked... so w/e, I tore off the opposite corner... next day, I take a shower, 3 more fall out... w/e. its not totally noticeable. go about the party, no issues.. the following morning -an entire row fell off.. so yea, I went to the salon to complain, she said they only last 2 days. I told her she had told me a week AT LEAST.. and that my MOH gets them done there all the time, and they last weeks. she then told me its because my eyes are so small... um, you couldn't have said something to me before I spent like $30.00 on them!? I would have bought the strips at cvs and did them myself.
I put strips on my students for recitals and competition, only ONE has ever fallen off... and thats because another teacher tried to put it on her, messed up and we didn't have time to remove the glue, so I had to put glue over it.
so... if you're interested in it... make sure you have 'trial' sessions so you'll know if they last and how they feel and look. mine did feel like they were weighing down my lids.. and the glue burns like hell!

Re: Eyelash Extensions
here is a pic of what nova lash looks like. It isn't exactly like th individuals that some of the other women are talking about.
I forgot to mention you can choose the length color and thickness of your lashes as well. Also it takes a while when I have had it done it takes about an hour and 20 minutes

Re: Eyelash Extensions
Just know that there is a difference between fake eyelashes and eyelash extensions.
You are getting comments on both kinds on this thread.
