I finally had a successful make up trial this weekend with Danielle from Metamorphosis. She's so sweet and did a great job!!
Although lashes come with the application I'm thinking about getting eyelash extensions, do any of you get/have gotten extensions before? Thought?
She recommended a place in NYC, and it got great reviews but i'm on the fence.

The best place is JJ Eyelashes in nyc. They are the most renowned for their lashes. You can buy a package of 3 from gilt city right now if you want to try them out.

I've thought about it, but I've heard bad things about the extensions wrecking your natural eyelashes. One of my coworkers does it and says that she keeps doing it only because she has no choice, the extensions have ruined her natural lashes.

dont do it!!! My cousin got extensions for her wedding in boston, and my friend got them done on LI, and both had the same reaction to it: They said that their lashes began to fall out... I've read this alot online too, and decided to just do the fake lashes on the wedding to be safe.. i'd rather not lose my eyelashes lol

I think you should go with false eyelashes instead. Not to scare you, but my sister had extensions, and her lashes started to fall out/had her natural lashes ruined. Luckily they returned to their natural state, but really research the place you're having them done at.

eeek...I'm so torn. I'll definitely think about it and do research. I may try it in a month or so- that way if I have a bad experience, i'll have enough time to get back to normal. I did a bunch of research and found 2 places in the city that are good. Plus, a bunch of coworkers get them done at a place in Lindenhurst that's supposed to be good.
