eyelashes

Is there a brand or a certin kind that work best?
My make up artist said sometimes they are just more trouble. Did anyone find them annoying?

Re: eyelashes

I've used them in dance recitals
you have to make sure they are on right and glued in tight cause they can slip down into your eye( thats the annoying part

More than that the glue always bothered my contacts.....I'm sure they make hypoallergenic ones but you probably have to pay more for them.

that is weird bc honestly most make up artists put on fake lashes...ive had my make up done a few times and theyll just do it without asking lol, most recommend it. I didn't find them annoying at all, only when you first open your eyes but after that its fine

I thought it was strange she said that too. It made me think maybe she doesn't know what she's doing but I have my trial tomorrow so we'll see.

I used MAC lashes. They felt weird at first, but then I got used to them. They do make a difference in pictures if you otherwise do not have long eyelashes.

i didn't even know there were different brands. i wore them for my wedding and they were totally comfortable. i'm pretty sure they were the strip kind. i got lots of compliments!

Mine looked gorgeous in my make up trial. They hurt like heck taking them out (but I did it the same day...which I was told was a bad idea).

They really make your profile & I met tons of girls with really thick & long lashes who wore them for the extra something they provide.

I know nothing about fake eyelashes, I just wanted to let you know that the pictures that you have of the Swan Club are really beautiful.

I agree with the pps that false eyelashes really enhance th eyes. My makeup artist used the kind where there were 2-3 lashes per clump, but I have also heard good things about MAC #7 and #4, which are strips.

Re: eyelashes

I wear them ALL the time. Especially if Im too lazy to swipe on loads of mascara in the summer.
Ardell are inexpensive and look just as good as the pricer brands.
I've had MAC lashes as well but always go back to Ardell.
For $3.00 you cant go wrong.
Play around with a few different ones to find a length and thickness that you like.
I think i buy #110 or #25's
Helpfull hint is to snip away the inside lash so they go from the outside corner of your eye to just before the inner corner. Alot of times you can see the inside corner of the lash so it's a good way to hide it and they look more natural that way.
