Anyone else plan on getting anything done before the wedding
I have my heart set on getting lasik before the wedding becausei do NOT want to deal with contacts on my wedding day and HM
I also would like to look into ZOOM whitening.
Anyone get either done and have prices/recommendations?

I would love to get Lasik but I heard that if alters your night vision. I can't have that since I drive in the dark a lot. But if you find out otherwise, do let me know.

If it was covered, I would love Lasik even though I am terrified of the procedure! It just freaks me out! Its funny that you posted this, cause when people ask me what my biggest worry is at the wedding, it is not being able to see anyone without my glasses on! I hope I marry the right guy!

I had zoom whitening done and was very happy with the results. I am also planning on getting invisalign- because now I have shiny, white, CROOKED teeth.
Good luck

Re: eyes and teeth
I wear glasses and I tried to go back to contacts recently and the doctor had to adjust the Rx 3 times cause I was getting migraines. I gave up. I might try to get contacts again a few months before the wedding to adjust my eyes. I DO NOT want to wear my glasses on my wedding.

My sister had brite smile, and it really made a difference. I may get it. I'm not sure yet! I'm trying to convince Fh to get braces, but he's really resistant to the idea!

I plan on having my teeth whitened by FH's friend who is an oral surgeon...The lasik is going to ahve to wait until after the wedding...FH's insurance covers 85% of it, so I have to get on the insurance first!

I really want to get LASIK, but I heard it can cause other problems, like someone I know needed to get reading glasses after they got LASIK when they had no problem reading before.

Re: eyes and teeth
I had LASIK done about 18 months ago and it has been awesome. I had worn glasses &/or contact for almost 20 years (developed an allergy to any type of contact) - and now I can't even remember what it was like to wake up in the morning and NOT see the clock. I highly recommend it if you're a candidate (not everyone is).
The procedure itself is absolutely painless; you're just a little bit uncomfortable later (best to get it done in later afternoon so you can just go home to sleep through the discomfort - which is what I did). I had it done at 5pm, and I was 20-20 by the next morning at 9am when I went back to the doctor (drove myself). So cool!!!
It cost $4,000 ($2K per eye), and is partially covered by some insurances. The place I went offered 0% financing through MBNA. FM me if you want doctor details - I loved my surgeon!!!
