My parents 35th wedding anniv is aug before my wedding date. I wanted to throw them a party and hire either cousin brucie to come or my dads fav band risky business.
Did i mention im an only child? Ugh.

Maybe they'll be on safari in africa then. My moms court case finishes oct 6th. Cant wait. Shes crying poverty and its making me insane.

Heres the sitch...when my parents hit their 30th my mom complained i didnt throw them a party. Mind you theres just me. I paid 12k for a divorce and ive had this house since 96. And i paid it all myself!
I told my mom it was her fault she only had 1 kid. Truthfully ive felt guilty ever since.

MY parents are celebrating their 35th the Aug before my Oct wedding too!!!! WEIRD!!!!
But I have a sister and a brother....so its falling on my sisters shoulders more than me. MY excuse is I live 2500 miles away!
Would they be okay with an 'intimate' (i.e. SMALL) party/dinner?

Oh yes. He had told her that any friendship they had in the past was over and she was dead to him bc she disrespected his 'wife'
Then she texted him after and said 'im sorry :('
He Deleted it after showing me.
Then she texted him from another # on july 4th. 'im sooooo sorry. :( :( :('
He showed me and was like do i tell her to f*ck off off ignore it?
We deleted it and later i was a biatch and texted her and said, 'please seek help. He has no interest in you.'
Nothing since.

Depending on $, i may still have a dinner in a restaurant w immediate family and really close friends.
Or...just send them away for a weekend amd wait and have a huge bash on their 40th
