F.o.b. attire

What do you all plan for your father to wear for the day of the wedding? Will he wear a tux that matches your FH and groomsmen? Or a suit? My father is coming from Italy for the wedding and he wanted to know what to wear?

Good question!! I think my dad will wind up getting a tux to coordinate or complement my fiance and his groomsmen.

my groomsmen are doing light gray tuxes with a satin edging on them with gray vests and purple ties

the dads are both wearing black tuxes but they have the same edging, and they are wearing gray vests and gray ties

My dad will be wearing a tux w black vest and toe. Same as groomsmen by his boutenerre will be different

Dads, groomsmen and groom all had the same black tux.

My husband had a silver vest and tie.
Groomsmen had a grey vest and tie.
Dads had a black vest and bow-tie.

Dads, Brother in law, and best men will all be wearing the same grey suit, shirt and shoes.

Dads will have a grey striped ties.
Brother in law will have a grey striped tie.
Best men will have aqua/mint striped ties.
FH will have a vest and white striped tie. He has not decided if he wants to wear the same suit as everyone or something different.

We are trying to keep a uniform look with the suits since everyone will be in pictures together and differentiate using ties.

Will probably have Dad wear same thing the groomsmen are. Have to get the suits set up for them soon.

My husband and best man matched in grey suits. Groom had a silver tie and pocket swatch, Best Man had Tiffany blue tie & matching pocket swatch. With my Father, my brothers & FIL--they wore whatever they felt comfortable in suit-wise. We had the fathers match the mothers' dresses. So my father had a dark suit with gold-tone tie & matching pocket swatch. He looked great!
