Fabric for DIY project- CARDBOX Done!

Original post by KellymKuehn

I am very frustrated with my DIY cardbox right now. I feel like it doesn't look nice.professional enough. So, I wanted to see how expensive fabric would be and maybe try it that way instead of with wrapping paper.

I went to Michaels and they had no fabric. I went to AC Moore and they had about 1/3 of an aisle with a few pieces of fabric. I thought everyone said they went to AC Moore for fabric but I didn't see anything!

Help!

I changed it a bit and now I don't need the fabric!

What do you think? (bigger pics in my album!)

I looked at it again. This is actually one of my favorites I've ever seen!!! I don't think you're going to have an issue with anything fitting and if you're worried, you can just take off the top and cut a slot in the pink box! Three layers should be enough. Or if you want to cut a bigger hole say on the bottom of the green one or the top of the pink one you can always do a row of small flowers on the original opening. I think it's perfect but if you're going to stress and make a 2nd one then...y'know

Thanks, yea Steve said that he would cut a hole in the pink box if I thought we needed more room for the cards.
But I already made another mini card box. It was easy because the box was already wrapped since we were planning on using it before as part of the BIG card box. Phew...that was a long explanation!

Crisis averted :)
