what room is this for??? and what is the paint color of the room??

It's for the bedroom, the walls are off-white, and the sheets are navy blue and off-white. The wall I want to cover is right behind the bed. I'm going to put up a curtain rod and hang the fabric that way, but no pleating or scrunching. That's why I want a nice, rich fabric like brocade.

Any suggestions, martha?

Any bold colors you can think of instead of blue?

I can't remember the name of it but there is one on the south service rd of the LIE on the Suffolk/nassua border. If you can find Ski Stop and PC Richards it just to the left of them.

That's the Fabric Mill.

What about buying curtains if you are hanging from a rod? We have velvet curtains in our bedroom that are really nice.

I was thinking that, but curtains are so expensive. I also thought that just getting the fabric would leave me open for styles and colors. Do you like the velvet, though? Any good deals on curtains that you can think of?

P.S. I spent 20 minutes explaining what a Grapple is to some of Mr Boots' friends!

I LUV the velvet! It looks sexy! It really wasn't that expensive--either $15 or $20 for each long hanging one at Bed, Bath, and Beyond. Target also has some nice cheaper curtains, but we registered at Bed, Bath, and Beyond so wound up having some store credit there. Plus they always have those 20% coupons.

P.S. How could they not understand the grapple concept!? An apple that tastes like a grape! I bet if they were drunk that would have been fun to explain!
