I find it disgusting that they are kicking people out and not letting people in. Guess we aren't in the 'in' crowd. Then again, I never hung around people like that in HS so I'm not gonna start now.

Sorry I am a 2013 bride who is bored tonight and reading all the boards. This is kinda funny to me tho! I can't believe they are kicking you off the page! They will prolly kick me off now too!

haha apparently it got pretty heated and they began kicking people out. I requested to join and a girl wrote me back, very apoligetic, that she couldnt accept me bc they had closed the group and were no longer accepting brides. I thought it was pretty odd lol

I wish you girls wouldn't call the girls 'petty' in first facebook group. There's 2 sides to every story and clearly everyone is quick to judge without knowing the other side.

Not for anything but before you judge, there was a reason for all of that. It's supposed to be a place where we can all vent and discuss various wedding ups and downs. Someone on the page took a screen shot picture of what one bride wrote about a vendor and her concerns and showed it to that vendor. Similar things happened and that is why the girls who frequent the group page didn't want to have to worry about that. It had nothing to do with being the 'in' group or being petty.

I am not sure what happened on the other page never asked to join I wanted to start a page with these girls so we can have somewhere else to talk and keep in touch before and after the weddings... I did not want to start drama

thank you for starting the new group!!! im not on fb very frequently but i definately want to join too :)

not trying to start more drama but regarding the original fb group - if there were issues with vendors and people posting things, then they should have closed the group and brought it back to the boards. there's no reason to kick people out or not let others join in. we're all in this together!!! it would be nice to have a lively discussion with everyone who is a 2012 bride. not just a few people.
