I wouldn't knock the original facebook group girls. I would assume it's just to have a place to be able to vent frustrations and build relationships with a sense of privacy and some security. If vendors or outside people are trying to sneak in, then it's understandable to close it off to outsiders.

Think about it... our 'No Boys Allowed' signs on our profiles won't hide our pictures from anybody because this is a 100% public forum. BUT... if you have a private group, then you could and nobody, except those in the group, would see it.

thank you for starting the new group!!! im not on fb very frequently but i definately want to join too :)

not trying to start more drama but regarding the original fb group - if there were issues with vendors and people posting things, then they should have closed the group and brought it back to the boards. there's no reason to kick people out or not let others join in. we're all in this together!!! it would be nice to have a lively discussion with everyone who is a 2012 bride. not just a few people.

Yes I agree they should not let vendors in, but we are all going through the same stuff and would be great if we could all talk, and not just block everyone from joining and kicking people out!

I was on the old FB group and got kicked off but to be honest it didn't bother me BC I never posted on it.

However, just a word to the wise, any thing you post on any sight, weather its private or public, has the potential to be shared with people who you do not wish to see it. SO if it comes back to bite you in the butt, then you deserve it.

In today's world of technology you have to be your own editor.
