facial and your monthly friend!

so i've been getting a facial every month and i'm gonna continue til the wedding so i can have the best skin- and its been great- havent had any break outs after the facial- skin has felt so great-

BUT i went last month like 3 days before my period and i broke out pretty bad after that time

so anyone know what the rule is? how far in advance should I get a facial before my period?
OR should i only go AFTER that time each month??

ugh i hate that, thats what happened to me. I went for a facial the weekend before my wedding, i had been going monthly for 6 months. Skin looked great after facial and then i got my period a few days before the wedding which luckily only lasts 3 days so ended before wedding day but i did break out.

I say get a facial about 1-2 weeks before whenever you get a chance before the wedding BUT just in case anything does happen and you break out, get cortisone shot.

i know cortisone is great!!! i need to find a new dermatoligist in this area so i can have him on call just in case anything happens....
