Is anyone getting facials? I never get them, but I am thinking about starting to get one every month or so before the wedding. Are there really any benefits? Can anyone recommend a good place to go in NYC?
Also, is there a particular type of facial I can get? All the options are sort of confusing!
Thanks!

Re: Facials?
Facials are the best! I started a new routine this week w/ new facial products to make sure my face is radiant for the wedding! I am going to start getting facials soon too. I suggest getting a facial about a week or so before the wedding. The results are great! It is so worth it!!! Especially if the person and the product are good.

Re: Facials?
In NYC...I lOVE Avon Spa (in Trump Plaza) I usually get the hydrating facial or a vitamin C facial..they personalize for you...
Also in the city, Mario Bedusco is awesome...(I think 5nd street) His products are amazing..
Bliss is good too - but totally overrated if you ask me..used to go there for years...then I got a gift certificate to Avon, and loved it so much, that I went there for my last two facials...
I usually go every 4-6 months, but started going every 6 weeks about 5 months ago -leading up to the big day...especially with this winter and how dry my skin got, they really help to give you a glow...but be prepared bc I lot of times the day or two after you will get some pimples or bumps---so make sure you give yourself about a week before your weddign!
Good Luck!

Re: Facials?
I can give you an amazing place in Brooklyn. It is so unknown but....really good!!! I swear by them. And they are also really inexpensive, which is always a plus. Like 35 bucks a facial and they are so good. You'd never know that is what you paid.
FM me for details, I have them at home.

Re: Facials?
This may be a dumb question, but why is the aesthetician allowed to do extractions but I am generally not supposed to touch my face? I'm just a little confused on that...thanks!

I've been getting a facial a month for the past 6 momths because I wanted my face to be clear and radiant on my wedding day. I have seen a big difference. I go to the Greenhouse Spa and recommend it highly. I would also recommend Vilma who is the head Aesthetician. She's amazing. You can check out their prices on the web. http://www.thegreenhousespa.net/pages/dayspa.html
this is where the girl i use used to work. i go to her house now.

because they condition the skin first. massage, steam, mask. the best answer i can think of.
