Oh, there is a place called Azure on Bell Blvd. (I go there for threading) Their prices are very reasonable and they seem pretty clean. It's on Bell Blvd and like 38th ave.

I go to a beauty school in Islandia, gloria frances, its 20 bucks for a 1 hour facial and its great! The people doing it are recently graduated and have to complete a number of hours. They also do micro derm, nails, and a lot more. And the best part...the price!

I cant remember the name of the salon but its in the Americana Mall in Manhasset. They do a great job! I'll look it up and FM you.
