Facials

I'm planning on getting facials every month starting a few months before the wedding. How many months before the wedding do you recommend starting....4...6?? TIA!!

I was planning on doing the same thing, I've never had one so I'm going to get my first one 6 months before the wedding just in case I have a bad reaction to it. I have sensitive skin so if I break out or something I want to have time for it to clear up before the wedding.

yea i heard you break out alot right after it because it opens everything up.. ekk!!! but thats prob just a story but still scare before a wedding

I had one done a few months ago! It was awesome! I did not break out at all from it my cheeks were a little pink but thats about it

i did one and the first time i broke out like crazy, it was gone the next day, and they said the skin is very sensitive and the lotions and massaging might have had an effect. Its more like red bumps than zits

That's a good idea, I think I'll get it done before too, I don't know about every month because it will get expensive and it might be too much for my skin.. I always do face masks at home, that's also another option

I would try one early- like 6 months out. Some skin does NOT agree with facials (ie, my mother who was red and blotchy for a week after one once). I have always been afraid to try it based on her experience.

This would leave you with enough time to try something else if this doesn't do what you want the facial to do

I get one every six weeks...been going to her forever she does it at her house if you would like her # I will give it to you...FM me. She also works at Ulta but she is cheaper in her home...she is awesome!

Whenever I do facials I def break out ALOT!!! Ive been to local places to the spa at Gavensvoort. I break OUT...ladies be careful try facials way before your wedding date. IMO
