Can you be preggo and not know it, but still have AF? I was having a conversation with my friend this weekend about TTC, and she said she was preggo, but didn't know bc she was still getting her period! Just got me thinking...... I thought it was one or the other though? Thanks ladies!

It's a fact indeed. It must be so shocking finding out 2 or 3 months down the line that you're PG when you thought you weren't.

Re: fact or not?
that is so wierd!! I remember when she first told me that she was pregnant, she had no idea because she had AF all along! She has a lot of stomach problems too, so I didn't know if her having AF while prggo was a personal thing or if it happens with other people too. Well, I guess it's good to know it can happen either way!!! Thanks!

Fact.
My mom was 5 months preggo with me when she found out. She went to the Dr. when she was on vacation in Germany because she thought there was something wrong with her making her gain a lot of weight.
She says she was getting her period too, although it was irregular...she suffered a M/C right before conceiving me so she thought it was just her body adjusting.
I don't know any more details. It is getting too close to the TMI realm...

Re: fact or not?
dang - I seriously want to go to Duane Reade and buy a pregnancy test now! Now, I'm REALLY wondering.... Even tho I just had AF and it's been regular, I can't help but question these few extra pounds I've been gaining, especially after hearing all these stories too! I think I'm just being paranoid, since the weight seems to be going down now that I've been walking my dog for 40 minutes every night! Still, a girl can't help but think about something like that.....
Amazing how our bodies can 'trick' us with things like this!!
