Fake Brides.

When I was at Liz's wedding I was told someone often thought that I was one..

I wonder how many others are fake on here and we dont' know it.
Do we believe that all the girls are really getting married or do you suspect not.
What about if they never post a pic.
Does that thought ever ponder in your head?

well I wouldnt assume that someone is a fake because they dont post pics. There are ALOT of people on here that do not post pics.

I never thought you were fake.

I do not post pics because I am so illiterate with the PC.

Re: Fake Brides.

I don't post pics of myself b/c I'm very private and paranoid that a pic will be used by some internet creep.

For me I dont really care who is a fake and who is not. Maybe thats a bigger deal on BHB but on here I just like having conversations with nice people, and thats what I get out of this board now. And i dont think that someone should not be allowed to use the NWR Slim down and Story board just cause they are not married cause you dont need to be married to use those, maybe im the minority here on this one.

FH would FLIP - totally and completely FLIP if I posted a pic of him on the net. He calls this site 'psychobrides.com' so he would not be happy about it.

But regarding your concern, T, yes I think there have been fake brides in the past - men for some reason seem to think it's funny to pose as a bride to be and make fun of everyone. There are also people who are current brides who make up names so they can vent their disagreements, rage and upset with another bride on here (as some have done to you in the past I think) as opposed to handling it via FM. Although I myself have lashed out in the past.

Some people just need to get a life (fake brides that is).

Re: Fake Brides.

I don't think if someone doesn't post a pic that makes them a fake bride. many people do not want to post their pics for various reasons.

My FI would freak out if I post a pic of us. We had a friend who got into trouble meeting people over the internet. After that we are paranoid.

Re: Fake Brides.

Even if they are fake, whose concern is that?? they are not on my dime or anyone else's for that matter, but their own. As long as someone is contributing in a positive manner to the discussiona and not causing problems, I could care less if its a gerbil, a hamster, a ferret, a man, or a fake bride.

Re: Fake Brides.

Occasionally I think a troll comes on here - BUT honestly real/fake - WHO cares - if people have nothing better in their life but to come on here and pretend that they are getting married I would feel more sorry for them than anything.

Besides who has time to fake these things - they are too time consuming...lol.
