A previous post on the 2011 board set me into search mode... Here's a link for relatively inexpensive 'fake' rings to wear on the HM for those girls who don't want to chance it and want to make sure they keep their original regardless of insurance

I would love to never ever take my ring off but you hear these stories of people losing their ring in the ocean etc etc.. and FH spent soooo much on my ring its not worth having anything happen although its insured I dont want to have to get a new one.. id personally rather have the piece of mind that its safe!

I bought a cheap cubic from kohls because i went away with my girlfriend on a road trip this last.
my finger is STILL GREEN.
it's gross. you can even see it under my real ring now .
