For anyone planning on doing the fake ring thing, just letting u know i just picked up a fake ering & wedding band from Kohls for $6.69 ea....i can finally get my real ring resized!!!! lol

I actually bought a fake ring from Mandees years ago just for the hell of it and people thought it was a legit engagement ring. Im telling you sometimes you cant tell by a quick glance!

why did you have to buy a fake ring to resize your real one?
cause i cant bring myself to let go of the real thing for a week..my finger feels naked without it...it'll make me more comfortable having something on my finger that resembles my real ering

When I got my ring re-sized they did it right there while I waited, and I got to watch as they did it. It didn't take a week.

i have to get my ring resized where my FH bought the ring cause it has a lifetime warranty/service contract on it...and they told me it takes about 5-7 days to get it back

I have the same issues with my ring. When I got it resized a few months a go we had to do the same thing! I was naked for a week! I hated it!

Kohls does have great ones. I bought one there when FH first mentioned getting engaged as a joke, but it was very beautiful.

well i did it. i finally gave my ring to the jewelers to get resized...turns out my finger is a size 5 1/2 rather than a 6 1/4 ...now im just counting down the days until i get it back..

I bought a great ring from Kohl's too, we went to Mexico over New Year's and I didn't want to wear my engagement ring. Then I gave it to my stepmom (it was really big on me) and she wears it on the otherside of her engagement ring and always gets complements!
It was like $8.00!!!

i do that sometimes when i go out for the night...i bought this beautiful ring at tri-county (i adore tri-county) and it looks real. in fact, if for some reason money gets too tight to buy a real wedding band, i would def. consider getting a $ 20 one from there for the time being!
