i am planning on buying a fake wedding band for my honeymoon - i am the super-paranoid, klutzy, loses everything type. would you get a fake e-ring too? i kind of want people to know i am on my honeymoon too, but they aren't that cheap (money is super tight right now so even $60 for a fake e-ring and wedding band is a lot).
what would you do?

Re: fake rings
seriously, if you're nervous, keep the e-ring at home, and wear your wedding band throughout your trip..... don't even take it off at night or in the shower.... Or if you MUST take it off, just automatically put it in your purse in a zipped compartment, never a hotelroom counter. That way, even if you forget to put it on, it won't be left behind.
I wore both the e-ring and real band throughout my HM and didn't have a problem. Besides, to me, it wouldn't feel 'real' to have a cheapo on my finger during the HM....

Re: fake rings
I am just wearing the real rings... first of all, I've been waiting forever to get that wedding band on my finger, and there is no way I'm going to take it off after just a few days. And second of all, I would really feel like something is missing the whole time without MY rings. The only thing I am slightly worried about is snorkeling with them on because the e-ring is a little loose and apparently shiney things attract barracuda (we're going to Mexico)...I'll probably just bring sports tape or somethign to wrap around them when I'm in the water..but other than that I am not worried.

Re: fake rings
Ok I have a couple of ideas of where you may be able to get a decent ring for a good price. Check HSN ,QVC and Lord and Taylor. They all have great sales for good prices. Especially Lord and Taylor when they have sales on the weekends you can get nice buys.
Hope that helps!

I agree completly! Once that baby goes on...it's not coming off!! If you have insurance on your ring you should have NO worries! If your worried about it slipping off..get it sized or put those little balls in it so it stays put. ( i did that with my ering and my band)

Re: fake rings
I am thinking about getting a fake one ONLY because when we went to Cancun last year, I lost alot of the little ide stone sin my engagement ring and had to remove it for the whole trip. was upsetting. My e ring and bands will be welded together so Its ALOT of rock to loose or damge. I will probably buy a set from Emitations.com.
One of these because they resemble my ring style.
This one looks just like mine but I have 2 bands not one.

Re: fake rings
If you would feel more comfortable then I would get a fake set, I personally am wearing the real deal because I never remove mine, even in the ocean I wear it. Do whatever will make you feel better.

Re: fake rings
i bought a fake set from macys for $15.00. Im not risking losing mine and dont want to leave them in the room while at the beach or in the pool. Just an extra precaution.
