the interview went great. the woman who interviewed me said i am pretty much accepted into the program i just havent graduated yet so when i do in the end of may i have to show hofstra proof of graduation and then i can begin to sign up for classes!! YAH I am almost officially a Hofstra Grad Student!!!

holy crap!! I'm a Hofstra Grad student!! Only technically though... I haven't applied to the program I want... I'm a non matric grad student right now (i.e. procrastinator)

oh really...yeah i will be attending this summer for Early Childhood/Special Ed program! What about you what program do you want to apply for? And what do you do - work wise? I would love to get a job there so my tuition would be free haha!!

hahaha why do you think *I* work there? Actually- my mom is a prof there & worked in the English Dept for over 14 years so... I got a job at HU when my son was old enough for me to leave him... I figured I might as well go for my masters with the benefits.

I applied to the Creative Art Therapy program but I haven't gotten my portfolio together. I spent a year or so gathering my undergraduate pre reqs. I'm not sure its really what I want to do. My BA is in radio & tv production and I worked in post production for about 5 years before giving it up to have the baby (who's now turning 7)

I need to get my masters b/c I can't live off this salary. lol

I'm actually thinking of starting all over & going for Speech Pathology.

Honestly not so good. IMO the Place was very unprofessional and didn't even know about the procedure really, maybe it was just her though?

I don't even notice a difference:( kind of a waste of money to me. I am disappointed!
