We are both HUGE Yankee fans and have HUGE Yankee fans in our families. Since our wedding is in October and the Yankees SHOULD be in the world series then (October 06), we decided to throw a little spice into the mix and name the tables after old school Yankee players. To make it fun, we are going to have mini-Yankee jersies made as the table number card

mine too! Thats why I got a Yankee Garter and groom's cake!! I am just scared that if the Yankees play on the day I get married he'll be watching it during the reception.

I'm naming my tables after trees-it goes with my favor and they'll be leaves on each one.

I really want to name the tables after characteristics a marriage should hve: love, trust, honor, fidelity, humor, etc. But it was brought to my attention that numbers are necessary for the wait staff. So I guess I'll have to make names but place numbers under the names...
