Ladies, what if anything do you plan to wear over your dress? I wasn't planning on getting a wrap or anything, but it's been colder than I thought. What do brides wear when outside? If it's a nice day, we can have our cocktail hour outside!

Re: Fall Brides - cold?
I would strongly recommend getting some sort of a wrap...I, too, noticed the chill in the air lately, especially at around the time my church ceremony is supposed to end next year...
I will be borrowing a fur jacket from my sister-in-law...she was given it as a gift for her wedding from relatives in Greece who couldn't make it to the wedding, and it was warm enough on her wedding day to not warrant it. So, it's been sitting in her closet...but will most probably comeout next year!

Since I am a dead-of-the-winter bride i have thought quite a bit about this. My mom made me a big knit cream colored shawl with little pearls around the border. Maybe ill get some pretty high gloves??? Some brides have talked about wearing long johns under but my dress is formfitting and i think it would show. I want white/cream uggs to wear before, in limo etc. Heck, I might just wear a snowsuit over my gown.
That's really nice. I think I might wait until just before the wedding. The past few years in October have been unseasonably warm.

Because I'm a plus size, I can't just borrow from a friend or somthing. But I agree, I will wait until next year.

I got a fur shrug from Tri-County...it's a kids large. I tried it on with my gown and it looks awesome! It will definitely keep me a little warmer. It only cost me $39. I would get something just in case. At least you'll have something, even if you don't need it.
