Any fall brides not using fall colors? I always wanted white or ivory BO-Ks for me and my BM but i'm afraid it wont look nice in the fall. I love ivory and white roses, with white candles. That's what i always pictured having in my wedding.

I am using ivory and light peach roses...not necessarily fall, but exactly what I wanted..you can use whatever you'd like!! Ivory and whites especially are colors that work whatever time of the year it is :) It'll look beautiful!

Re: Fall brides not using fall colors
I'm not really using fall colors. While my BM bo-k's are darker colors, my bo-k and the centerpieces will all be white, sahara and pale pink flowers. I didn't want to really do the fall colors either and my florist convinced me to go with what I really wanted regardless of the season.
White and ivory will look beautiful anytime of year. If that is what you have always wanted, then definitely do it!

Although it is in the fall I am not using the darker colors either. The bouquets are going be ivory and pale pinks. I love the lighter colors and the BM dresses are also ivory. It is all about what you want for your day. Enjoy

I am using red and pink. orginally I was going to do a fall theme, but I went to see a wedding my florist was doing in a fall theme, and although it was gorgeous, it felt like thanksgiving dinner and not a wedding. Dont worry about not using typical fall colors.

We're doing burgundy, blush, ivory and champagne. I had a whole autumn harvest theme going at one point, but I felt it really didn't match my style or with the reception site. My dress actually really informed the theme/colors of everything... it's a blush color.
I would do what makes you happy, regardless of season.

My wedding is technically in the fall, but it's September 23, so it's only the 2nd day of fall. The bouquets are done in ivory.... My candles are ivory.... Everything is ivory w/ gold accents. Do whatever you like... don't worry about what you are 'supposed' to do.

Re: Fall brides not using fall colors
yeah mine is november and i'm using rose colored bm dresses with light colored bouquets. the dress color is dark enough so they don't have to be tan to look good in them...only i will have to be! i wouldn't do pale pink dresses in november, but flowers can be any color i think...

Re: Fall brides not using fall colors
My wedding was in November and I had plum gowns for BM. My flowers were a mixture of mango calla lillys, hot pink roses and dark purple flowers with dark green leaves. I wish I had a pic I have to add some to a new post. They were beautiful.

Re: Fall brides not using fall colors
I'm fall but I've never been a fan of the fall colors. My BM dresses are black, my bok and CP's are creams and ivorys, and the BM bok's are bright purple's and blue's (my favorite colors )

I think white/ivory bo-k's will look fine in the fall. My bm's will have fall color bo-ks, but mine will be green/ivory and my centerpieces are white and ivory. You really can't go wrong w/ivory and white IMO!

I'm having eskimo (off white) and sahara roses in my BO-K with Bells of Ireland. My MOH and FG's will have sahara and leonidas roses in theirs.
The CP's will be just leonidas roses, which are kind of fall-like in a rusty two-tone color.
