FALL BRIDES Past & Future....

Please help me! I am having a difficult time picking a honeymoon location. We are leaning towards Sandals Grande in St.Lucia but I'm having second thoughts.

We have under $5K and 7 nights to spend!

Any suggestions would be great. Also an all inclusive is preferable!!

how about aruba! i had so much fun there and the weather is awesome all year round...they have all inclusive packages also!

we went on a cruise in early OCT. Weather was perfect--we went to St.Thomas, St. Martin , Antigua , St. Lucia & Barbados.
A co-owrker went to St. Johns in early-mid September & I think has some weather issues, but this years hurricane season was longer & harsher than usual.

St. Lucia is GORGEOUS! I highly reccommend, but I don't know about resorts.

I forgot to mention that FH and his ex used to go to Aruba all the time.

So that's out.

I don't really want to go on my honeymoon somewhere he'd been with another girl and he wants to see another island anyway.

ive never done it butu have you tried a package deal through expedia.com or one of those sites??

I dont know of any specific places but im sure youll find something

I delayed my HM but Sandals Grande St. Lucia was gorgeous- we stayed at Halcyon but spent a day at the Grande. I really don't think you'd be disappointed. We went in late Dec. but I don't think the weather in the fall is that much different. If I recall correctly, year round, when it rains, it happens for fifteen minutes and then the sun comes out!

We took a cruise from NY to Puerto Rico, St. Thomas & Tortola. It was incredible and I recommend it.

Or just go to St. Thomas. I LOVED it there.

Going to Aruba,,,,but we are paying close to 10,000....we also are going in December (prices are higher)because FH is a teacher and cant takeoff..

You will definitly find a beautiful spot for you HM and a reasonable price..What about the secret Hideaway in Mexico.....

We went to Tahiti - if we didn't have as much as we did budgeted for the trip we wanted to go to St. Lucia. Everyone who I know went there said it was absolutely gorgeous! We still want to go there.

Anywhere in the Caribbean should be under your budget. You might even be able to swing Hawaii for $5K. Shop around. I recommend Travelocity.com as a starting point on prices.

We stayed at the Rendevous in St. Lucia on vacation (my friend rented a villa there in October and got married). It was beautiful. the island is gorgeous and the people are friendly.

Our friends got married in Sept and went to Aruba. They did not pay that much either. They stayed at the Radisson and had the best time. Aruba is a very safe bet during hurricane season.

WHat about Puerto Vallarta? It's on the West coast of Mexico, so no hurricanes. FH and I went (one wek in PV and one week in Acapulco) and we had the BEST time in PV. There are all-inclusive resorts, but even going out is fairly inexpensive.

I just got back from Turks and Caicos (in the British West Indies) and it was wonderful. Not too expensive. I know last year they were not hit hard by hurricane season, not sure how it usually is.

Puerto Vallarta is awesome, I like it a lot there too.
