Personally I would go with...

any color in the brown family, or a deep wine. My MOH is getting married in November, and we are wearing 'ruby' from Bill Levkoff. If you are having a theme, you could pull those colors into your BM dresses. Whatever you do, don't include too many people in the choice. You know the old saying about too many cooks in the kitchen! The color is like a neutral pinky brown that looks gorgeous against the red and chocolate bouquets I'm having for them. The dresses are by Watters and Watters.

I was in a wedding this past October. My friend chose a red, but it was deep and looked like it had black in it, but not a wine color - it was the one by Bill Levkoff with the daisy sequence straps - beautiful!!! All the girls loved it. Good luck!

Marnles- A couple of questions

Hi Marnles,

I just read your previous post and am wondering what color and types of flowers were in your bouquets. I just picked out the BMs dresses yesterday (a big relief) and they are Jordan dresses in a cranberry color. It was not the color that I had originally planned (which was navy blue) but I absolutely love them and I am very, very picky about things. However, now I have a dilemma about the color of the flowers. What did you think of the bouquet from that October wedding you were in? Thanks.

Hi-
Actually my friend did hand-tied single calla lilly stems for each BM. The ribbon color used was very similar to the dress. It looked very elegant - in fact, I am doing the same thing. As for bouquets, unfortunately I don't know. Sorry! I know originally for her she was going to do fire and ice roses (I think that's what they were called). That might look nice, with some berries perhaps? She wound up doing off white roses with berries for her own bouquet. Hope this helps! Best of luck, and let me know what you decide.

Sorry - can't really help in that dept. either! Because our dresses were red with a hint of black, we went with black shoes - which looked great actually. You may want to consider that. Our other route was just to go with dyeables, but it was an extremely difficult color to match...good luck!
