Any fall ladies (Sept, Oct, Nov) going to the Caribbean for their honeymoon? I'm so worried about hurricanes, so was wondering if anyone else is thinking of chancing it also!

im going to Europe, but im from the carribean and always go to different islands for labor day, as of yet, we have never had a problems, but it is a risk

we definitely ruled out the caribbean because of the hurricanes and had decided on going to tahiti. now we're taking a mini honeymoon and going in january because FH will be in school.

We are getting married in Oct and we are thinking about going on a mediaterrian cruise instead of the carribiean just for that reason. We're not sure if we wanna take the chance...

we're going to mexico, but when i was talking to the travel agent about caribbean she said that if we were to go in november we're really not in hurricane season anymore. i would definitely talk to a travel agent about which islands are best to go to that time of year - you might be able to find some where the risk of hurricanes is a lot lower

I am/was a November bride-considering changing our date...but we went on a cruise last NOvember down to the Western Carribbean (Labadee; cozumel; grand caymon; ocho rios) and had NO issue w/weather what so ever! I would book my November honeymoon in a heart beat!

HaHa! Yessss Im ecstatic to Snowboard for our Honeymoon! My dream come true!! I think Im gonna put on my veil while snowboarding and hit some jumps hahaha! We arent sure where we are going yet.. Working on planning it. As long as their is cold weather, lots of snow and frozen lakes to snowmobile on.. I'll be the happiest girl ever!

I am absolutely not risking it. I had this arguement with everyone !!!
It is my once in a lifetime trip and i am going to try and keep my risk level down!!!!!! haha..
Ive had many friends go , and lets just say the islands rained on their parade.

Hmmmm I never even thought about this!! We are planning on going to Turks & Caicos...I guess I'll just pray for no hurricanes!!!!!!!!

My FH and I would like to go to Sandals in St. Lucia. So most likely going to chance it, but take out insurance.

We're going to St. Lucia on our HM next month. I really wasn't too considered about hurricanes since we're going towards the end of the season, and St. Lucia is pretty far south as well, which helps...but we purchased travel insurance just in case
