Hey Everyone looking for venues for the big day , Any suggestions on fall venues . Looked at the Fox Hollow and thatched cottage . Loved the winter garden pavilion at fox hollow and the fact that they have an inn but after reading some of the reviews I'm not to sure although I loved the venue ? Any opinions or suggestions would be great ,,,,

I haven't heard any bad things about Fox Hollow...that was our second choice and the hotel next door is a huge perk!

I booked the Somerley Room at the Fox Hollow. My dad's cousin got married there and he didn't have any issues. All that I heard about the food was that it was really good.

fox hollow was our 2nd choice but we went with larkfield as it had way better reviews and we loved it more lol also fox hollow i dont think does cheaper rates until november. larkfield is getting renovated, so you might get cheaper pricing if you book now before it's fully released/ done

I booked with Thatched Cottage and couldn't be happier! The food is amazing and everyone has been great to work with. Even though my date is 5/25/14, I was originally looking at October. The weather will still be nice enough for you to get the most out of their outdoor space.

I am having my reception in the Winter Garden Room. I haven't heard any bad reviews and hear the food is delicious. I 'fell in love with the fox' the moment I walked in.... can't wait for December!!!! :)

We are getting married at Three Village Inn in Stony Brook. They have an outdoor ceremony space. It has a real quaint feel to it. It's also a B&B with a restaurant and tavern.

I'm having a fall wedding in the Winter Garden Room at Fox Hollow. I love the venue, the food is great, and I think it fits perfectly with a cozy fall theme!
