This post is probably going to spark a LOT of conflicting opinions, but is anyone else completely INFURIATED by this!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!? I am so completely aghast that this woman's horrific actions are even being questioned again!!!!! She doesn't even deserve to be called a woman - in my eyes, she is a complete and total monster. It breaks my heart that someone can be so evil to even do something this souless and horrific to her own children, and now I'm just shocked and sick that she's getting a new trial!!
IM SO ANGRY ABOUT THIS!!!!!! It's disgusting, and she belongs in prison for the rest of her awful life. I feel nauseous just thinking about this - it's absolutely horrible. So sorry, but this is too upsetting and I really needed to vent......

This is the woman that drowned her children, right? That is pathetic. I know our justice system is just that, a JUSTICE systems, but IMO, some people don't even deserve it. She's scum.

wait a minute, is she the one with the five children that she did it because of post partum psychosis? why is she getting another trial, she doesn't deserve it. she should have gotten help when she needed it.

I am just sick over this. I don't knwo how those laywers can even sleep at night, thrying to not only defend her, but still trying to get her off the hook for what she did?!?!!??!!?

I don't know, I do think she was insane....It's not like she will walk free if found not guilty by reason of insanity, she will just be in an insane asylum instead of on death row. I don't believe she did think what she was doing was wrong--she had said she heard God telling her she must kill them to save them...Of course it isn't right, but I do see a difference between insane people hearing voices and not knowing the difference between right and wrong and those who knowingly rape and murder...JMO...

I am appalled by this as well, I think it's disgusting that one 'false testimony' (simply because a show never aired ) that probably had NOTHING to do with the jury's decision should overturn this. And, they're talking about posting bail for her until the new trial begins!! Unreal.
I believe that she did know that what she was doing was not right. I'm not saying she had all her faculties about her, I don't think that's really a question in anyone's mind, but I do believe that she knew. The worst part was about her running after the oldest one and dragging him back to drown him. How can they possibly overturn that?!?!

Good let them waste the money, get the guilty verdict, but this time - take the children's father with her too. He, IMO is just as guilty.

I AGREE TOO! Infact i think he was more at fault than she was.... I think HE indirectly caused the death of his children!
She tried and wanted to get help...HE IGNORED HER!

IMO that is just silly to even say.. She was sick that is a fact. She tried to get help. He husband kept her alone and isolated, KNOWING full well that his wife was sick but did nothing.. Yes she needs to be commited to s psychiatric center but she needs HELP!

i think that when she comes out of her psychosis and realizes exactly what she did...that will be her hell and her prison. maybe that will never happen, but if it does, wow.
