My hubby and I are talking about starting a family and we are getting many words of advice. I feel that we are married for a year and even if I got pregnant tonight (I won't he's asleep ) We would still have almost another year together. Many think I am rushing it. I want to be a relatively young mom. 24. What do you girls think.

I am with you on this one.

Some people say wait at least 2 years to start trying, but I figured the same thing as you. I'm also a few years older so I don't really want to wait that much longer.

I personally don't like to overthink things like this because I feel like it adds too much pressure. I say go for it and ignore what everyone else says because at the end of the day, it'll be YOU that will be carrying the child and not them. It is your choice.

i say if it's what you want and you're ready go for it! life is too short to say what if... and call me a pessimist but a lot of people have difficulty getting pregnant... it might take longer than you think, so you could start now and still not get pregnant for awhile.

ITA with the above...if you are ready then go for it. You and DH are the only ones that can really say if you are ready or not.

It is totally up to you and your dh. People are just going to talk because I guess they feel like they need to. They keep on asking us all soughts of questions now like they have anything else better to do.

It's your and your dh decision and no one elses.
