family problem

In 8 months my fiance' and I are getting married. His parents are divorced his parents remarried but his parents talk but the father is still married to his wife. His mother, her husband left her and his half sister. She also doesn't talk to her family so they will not becoming to the wedding. His father was married to his wife about twenty years and had a son. He talks to his family and has lot of them. He was 8 years old when his father got married and his parents separted when he was 3/4 years old But my question is his father just past away a week ago. How do I respect his step mother, she never called my fiance when his father was in the hospital over the years and ,when he wasn't feeling well, also this time. His half brother called him when he past away and the three of them went into the hospital. When we would go over there for dinner she will not sit at the dinner table with us. About 10 years old ago my Fiance mother went upstate to live he ask his father to live with him until he found a place to live he was 19 years old at the time. She didn't want him to live there. When he was older she ask him to live with her mother house upstairs. Now that he past away I want to respect his father for that is his wife I don't want to hurt anyone feelings. How can I have her help in the wedding planning and at the wedding I haven't book anything yet i had to cancel all our appointment this past weekend and this week that we had. When making appointment with vendors like Photographer/ Videographer for the wedding what question should we say to them with this? Or how to bring this up to them about the divorce and the lost without getting the groom upset . I'm conserned about albums on how to put them together for them or should we let them pick there pictures out. My parents album will be fine its really the gromm side. Please help me out.
