Hi everyone, I'm truly upset to have found out that there will be a divorce in FH's family. His oldest brother just found out that his wife cheated on him while she went for a job training and they have 2 little boys, 4 and 2 yrs. I'm am so sad for his whole family as this comes as a shock to all of us. I pray that they will all be alright.
on a more selfish note :(- i feel uncomfortable talking to FH's mom about wedding planning while their family is going through this. I am going to try to let things pass for a few months and hopefully she will be able to talk about things once again.

OMG I am so sorry I think it's a good idea for a few weeks maybe not to speak of it..but not to sound selfish if you need her input in certain things, I think you should still be able to ask her. Your planning shouldn't have to be altered. With the inital shock of all that is going on right now do I understand they may need time. I'm so sorry again though .

I am so sorry to hear this news. Maybe holding off on any wedding talk is a good idea. As difficult as it will be, it might be best for all of you.

thats awful... im so sorry... i agree to try and let this news blow over... although she might be welcome to something happy like your wedding to take her mind off of her sons divorce... you should try and feel her out see which way her mood is going!

I'm sorry to hear about the unfortunate circumstance in the family. Even though things may look bad now, hopefully things will be better in the future. I agree with you on waiting to talk your MIL until everything clears since it is a distressing situation for the family.

first of all im sooo sorry to hear that im in a similar situation in which one of my bridesmaid just started a divorce against her husband (who is also fh friend and going to be a groomsmen) so i have no idea how am i going to work this out

I am so sorry to hear about that. That's terrible news. I agree to maybe hold off on WR topics for a few weeks until everyone has had sometime to let reality settle in.
