Farah - How was Budapest???

Hi! Yeah, it was really nice. It's a beautiful city, but very empty/quiet for some reason

We had wonderful food!! Lots of veal and we visited the thermal baths, so it was a bit of a decadent weekend

Also, there was a wine cellar across from our hotel that we just happened upon on Saturday evening. They have over 600 bottles of wine, with 60 open at any one time. It was pay your $15 and help yourself! There was supposedly a two hour time limit (alhtough I don't think anyone checked) and we had a dinner reservation, so we didn't abuse the help yourself policy...but there was a small group of French tourists, a group of English guys and two Italian guys that were all just totally WASTED!! Plus, it was all Hungarian wine, which in my opinion leaves much to be desired, but we found three bottles that we absolutely loved.

It was a really fun time...I don't think it was what I had expected, but it was a great trip.
