CALL Them and double check that your room blocks and reservations are correct!!! They have lost yet another sales rep, making it 4, yes 4 that have come and gone since I signed contract last APRIL!!! (sales rep deals with wedding blocks) To make a long story short, one BM calls this morn and says to me.... 'Um i can book online for the sat, but not the sun, it says no room available' so i call them, this man says the new sales rep is out until monday, but everythings fine and sometimes online system screwy so to just have my guests book by phone....
SO OK....
2 HOURS LATER: A DIFFERENT BM calls me and says, 'Um FYI I just booked over the phone for the two nights and they told me I got the LAST ROOMS AVAILABLE...'
SO I call the hotel back, the man says oh how many rooms did you block, I say THIRTY for EACH night.... HE puts me on hold for i dunno 20 minutes, comes back and swears he will have the new director call me monday to try and fix why ALL MY BLOCKED ROOMS werent blocked and are now BOOKED BY OTHER PEOPLE NOT ASSOCIATED WITH MY WEDDING and that no other rooms are avail!!!! I have the signed contract in front of me.... thirty rooms for both days. ALSO he had our reservation as in my FH and myself as one night instead of two..... which i also have the confirmation for....
My invites have been mailed.... They better have this fixed by Monday.... I just wanted to give you ladies the heads up that things arent going too smoothly there, Ill let you know what happens monday..... I gave myself hives.

OMG - and they're supposed to be the better hotel than the Best Western??? I hope everything works out for you!

um my problem now is..... 10 rooms from my guests have already been booked, so if i have to switch hotels... this is gonna get messy because all my guests are out of state and we picked them because they offered the shuttle for hotel guests....

Thant happened to my MOH she had shakwana then she left and noone called to tell her the new girl Faith i think her name was...was not helpful...luvkily it wokred out in the end but it was still annoying! so sorry this happened! they better get their sh** together

If this is the Courtyard Marriott. I'm fed up with them and haven't even blocked rooms off. I can NOT get anyone there to call me back or take my call or email me info, etc. I've been chasing them since August!
I called the headquarters and was priced $199 a night for my guests. No way can I expect them to pay that much

Shaquanna quoted me $149, but some of them are staying a week because of another wedding after ours. We are going with the Best Western..it's $112 (Fri or Sat) or $98 with the military discount. Plus free breakfast...no shuttle though.

I know, that $112 is AMAZING, but the shuttle nice that it's much closer to the riviera.

I'm so upset and hope they have an answer for me Monday as to what the F!! is going on.... Why plan shiit so far in advance if you're just gonna get fuckked in the end???? Ten of my guests already booked there... if none of my other guests can, how the hell am i supposed to transport everyone, i didnt budget in more trans because the hotel promised to take care of hotel guests back and forth with a shuttle....
Im writing this because I got FM from other brides booked at same place... I hope this helps before it gets pulled....
So help me ladies, if they fuuck me over, im slandering their name all over, this post may end up deleted, but mark my words i will pay to put up a web site warning other brides about them.... I tried to do everything wedding related with ample time and right from day one a year ago.... this shiiit is unacceptable, bridezilla is about to emerge.....

HOLY C R A P - i booked a long time ago and i swear to god if this get f-d up I am going to KILL. I am going to call to make sure about my stuff as soon as possible. I do not have my confirmation stuff on me today but I will call to block our room and confirm that we are in the system.

I hate to be a trouble maker, but I think everyone should call the headquarters and complain. I just did that yesterday. They should know that their Farmingdale location may be losing potential customers due to lack of attentive staff. Just a thought.

I JUST CALLED I AM NOT IN THE SYSTEM AT ALL!!!!
I am so angry - i mean this is b/s. The lady is on vaca or something until monday and this is not acceptable. I have the paper work at home just in case this happened. SO now I am going ot wait till monday and if it is not resolved I am going down there and asking them to do something for me because there is no option for me to reprint since the cards are in the invites and all ready closed and sealed and stamped to go out so I AM NOT HAPPY.

I am calling back on Monday and making an appointment to go down there to make sure I'm in the damnnn system! I have already had so many problems with them and I reserved my rooms last July. BTW, the general manager Joe, i don't think he is any help. I think headquarters is the way to go. This is so ridiculous that we have to stress over the damn hotel. They better get their shiit together! AND our guests are paying a lot of money to stay there to top it off....this whole thing is bull-sh**!
