Fashion challenged

Going to dinner tonight with FH to celebrate our anniversary (Vetro, very excited).

I want to wear my high black boots cause they're new and FH thinks they're hot. Problem is, it's cold out and I don't really feel like wearing a dress.

What should I wear? I was thinking of black leggins with a long pink tank top and one of those wrap sweaters... you know, with the long points int he front? With the boots and a long silver necklace. Dressy enough? Should I s uck it up and wear a dress? I have a long sleeve blue jersey dress that'll look good with the boots but like I said, it's chilly out. GAAAAAH, I hate figuring this stuff out!

you could do the dress with tights! i dont know how daring you are but you can do fish nets or a fun printed tight under the dress if its a simple dress.

Yeah, I was trying to avoid the tights, lol, maybe I'll just stay in my robe til FH gets here and make him pick out the outift to go with the boots
