I have fat feet too! I am opting for a granny style shoe (I assume this is for your wedding!) but once time, I bought these really cute strappy sandals that didn't really fit my fat feet...and I took it to a shoe repair place and they were able to stretch them!

Just keep trying! that is what I do - I found really cute shoes at Bandalino in the mall and they are great. Don't be afraid to try on the pointy shoe!!!

Also, for us fred flintstone like I have learned the hard way that the higher quality the shoe the more likely it is to fit. Little tiny gucci heels in a size 7 fit my big fat square feet perfectly. Now there is no way in helll I am spending $400 on a pair of shoes at this point in my life but there are some brands out there that are worth messing with. Going up 1/2 a size or even a whole size is fine. Shoes are just like jeans - you are not the same size in every brand - yet another thing that took me WAY to long to figure out.

Don't be scared - find some shoes you like and try away! You might be surprised to find out what actually fits and like the previous poster said you can totally get them stretched - or wear them around your house with thick socks on.

Just to let you know - my foot size is a 7DD or a 7W. Most of my shoes are a 71/2 some are even 8s.
